Dale was our inspiration when we started broadcasting. I can remember him coming to the old gym at St. Henry a couple of times while I was there. I reached out to him to get some ideas on how to do things in the beginning. He was always helpful and willing to give advice.

 

Players my age really thought it was a big deal when Dale and Hardy game to your gym. I will remember most, sitting at home listening to him call Simon Kenton's State Championship in 1981. I can remember it like it was yesterday.

 

Northern Kentucky lost a gem on Sunday. RIP my friend.
