Madison Central Indians

Featured Replies

Should be an interesting season coming up for Central with probably 9 or 10 starting seniors leading this team Connor Britton will be pushing the offense and Branden Carney with a big physical defense protecting the back half should be fun to watch with a talented underclassmen group.

How many seniors did Madison Central graduate? How many returning starters?

Lost 5 starters from last year 6 starters returning as seniors and a great sophomore and junior class to fill in the pieces. Should be interesting to see how they mesh.

Thanks for the luck you can always use it that's for sure.

It looks like central has only 5 senior starters this season. Not only did they lose 9 seniors, but 6 of them started significant games. They also lost starting mid Budeiri (transferred to Henry Clay), and their keeper isn't back. They don't return anyone who scored more than 2 goals last season.

The offense is obviously rebuilding this season, but the defense, which was supposed to be their strength, isn't as solid as some expected.

They have some talented players, but the team seems to be inexperienced and a step back from previous seasons, and probably a step down from Dunbar, Henry Clay, Lafayette, and Woodford Co in the 11th.
