Summer League games today (Saturday 6/30) Spencer County High School

Games all day with the following teams:

 

South Oldham

Fairdale

North Bullitt

Spencer County

Atherton

Watched some good basketball today. Here are some scores and observations. Keep in mind I realize this is summer league and key players are missing off certain teams and coaches are playing their benches to see what they have.

 

Anyway, the first game I watched was Spencer County vs South Oldham. Each team was missing one key player. Spencer County won 61-48. Spencer County started two soon to be freshmen and played a third freshmen major minutes. Good mix of young players and upperclassmen.

 

Spencer County 56 Fairdale 55. I was told Fairdale had their entire team. Spencer County missing one key player. Fairdale had alot of athletic talent, but Spencer County outhustled them (common theme of the day).

 

Spencer County 62 North Bullitt 58

 

I also watched South Oldham play Fairdale. Fairdale beat them by close to 20 points (can't remember the exact score).

 

Fun to get to watch some basketball again. I'm ready for the season!
