Senior QB Blake Ayers throws 13 yards to Nikko Beason. PAT good, Warren Central leads in the first qtr 7-0.

Junior QB Trent Steelman and senior RB Avery Hibbitt started for the Purples. A little rusty at first, but considering looked good so far.

Steelman to junior WR D.L. Moore for a score, I believe about 24 yards. 2pt conversion attempt good on a Steelman run. BGHS 8, Central 7. 4:30 left in the first qtr.

This one's getting good!:thumb:

BGHS put Central on their three yard line on the ensuing kickoff!

Senior Chris Johnson punt return for a score on Central's punt. Senior Casey Tinius hits the PAT, and the Purples are up now 15-7. The return was for 36 yards. 2:57 left in the first qtr.

End first qtr: BGHS 15, Warren Central 7. Central has the ball just into Purples' territory as the second starts.

First play of the second qtr, ball snapped over Ayers' head and they lose to their own 48 yd line, then tack an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on top of that, and Central has the ball back on their own 29.

Holding penalty negates a Chris Johnson punt return to the Central 19. They started just in Central territory because of a holding penalty.

TD pass from Steelman to Ryan Beard negated by a clip by D.L. Moore.

Casey Tinius attempting a 41-yd FG, missed wide right. BGHS shot themselves in the foot several times on this drive.

Anthony Davis from five yards out. Tinius PAT good. BGHS 22, Central 7. 2:25 left in the first half.

Corbin Smith intercepts an Ayers pass on the final play of the first half at the BGHS 10 yard line. End first half: BGHS 22, Central 7.

Offense looks MUCH better tonight...best they've looked so far this season. The game would be on the verge of a blowout if the Purples would quit shooting themselves in the foot on penalties.

Defense has done a very good job against a potent Warren Central offense, keeping them out of the end zone except for the first score of the game.

Hibbitt 1 yd run for the score to end a 65-70 yd drive. Senior K Matt Simpson boots the PAT, and the Purples are now up 29-7 in the third qtr!

End third qtr: BGHS 29, Central 7. The Dragons have the ball on the BGHS six after recovering a Purple fumble on the BGHS 21.

Darrious Brooks six yards for the Dragon score, first play of the fourth qtr, and they're going for two. Brooks run failed. BGHS 29, Central 13.

Chris Johnson seals the deal for the Purples with a good run in the fourth qtr. BGHS 36, Central 13. Simpson booted the PAT. Less than 3 1/2 minutes left in the game.
