Brossart 1 Pendleton County 1

Wow, it's funny how you have so much insight of the incident with no details?
I actually have plenty. But that comes from having spoken to a referee friend of mine while I was at the JV final. After I found out who the ref was your comments became useless to me.

I'll be honest, the only reason I am being as hostile as I am is because the first post on this topic was a prime example of why we have no refs and and you never will have the quality that everyone expects.

You had a referee go down hurt in a game, then people take to the internet to cower behind their screen names and accuse that person of cheating by giving a "gift" PK. Because I'm sure this was the way the person wanted to spend their Saturday. Driving down to Pendleton County to ref soccer, get hurt, and then yelled at by the Einsteins that are soccer fans. Please...

I am. Thank you for noticing. I figured I would stay on this topic to be around people like myself.

I applaud and appreciate the efforts of the refs. I do. But if a bad call is made, you're gonna hear it from fans, especially when it impacts the outcome of the game. If you don't expect that, you're in the wrong business.

First of all I wasn't there and by the sounds of the comments by others most of you weren't either but after talking to a few people and players who were, the center ref is usually a very solid choice how ever on this one he may have missed the call and even a players parent from Pendleton that I know said that was the fact.

I was told the goalie grabbed the ball from the attackers foot on a slide getting all ball then the striker tripped after to kick the ball one more time. The ar tried to tell the center this but was told that's not what happened( she was 20 yards away) he was at mid field.

I also heard hildreth had cleat marks up his leg from being taken out earlier but I guess that's not a foul, ( coming in cleats up) that's how everybody plays right.
