Junior Gold Bowling Tournament

Featured Replies

This week the National Junior Gold bowling tournament is being held in Indianapolis. I've been following a few NKY representatives. Was surprised(well not to surprised) to see a lot of KY kids in the tourney. If you're interested, you can keep track of the results in the link below.

As of now, Jake Yazell from Lexington is the top KY bowler in U20 through a round and a half. Chad Gilbert(Georgetown) and Andy Cora(Mt Sterling) and Cameron Walker(Danville) are the other KY boys on the first page of the leader board.

Andy Campbell - Highlands

Jake Farley - Highlands

Jacob Lawson - SK

U15

Jordan Cole - Highlands

Jonathan Cummins - SK

Kaylee Hitt - Campbell Cty

If I'm not mistaken, Yazell's dad was a heck of a bowler. I bowled against a Yazell in my heyday. Now I'm just a has been!

Bowling has been taking off lately in the H.S. ranks. Wish we had something like that when I was in H.S. (dark ages).
