I think it has been filled, but I don't have a name at the moment.

I went on the Whitefield Academy website and they give very little information on who the coaches are for each sport. The Whitefield Academy sports Twitter feed only gives info on sports that are in season. If you come across a name for the new basketball coach, that would be greatly appreciated.

I have heard that they haven't officially hired a coach as of yet. They have a younger fellow who has been to a lot of the open gyms and is getting to know the kids and the program. Not sure of his name yet, or if he is going to be the new hire for sure. When I get any word I'll drop it in here. I wish them the best of luck, has been a very hard last 2 years on the basketball team and the morale for the Wildcats.

I have heard that Chris Vaughn will coach the varsity team this year. He is the current AD and has been around the school and the sports program for a long time. He has coached the younger grades as of late. He is a great guy, and the kids really love him. I think he will do a good job with the boys, and he will be getting an influx of players, probably 6-7, who played in the past, but choose not to play for the coach they had last year. I wish him and Whitefield the best of luck.
