Smaller D2/D3 camps?

Recommended Posts

Would anyone have any suggestions concerning small camps an athlete could attend to get the most exposure?

Be selective and choose your region and schools. Be thinking best buys and what degree your athlete may know what he's seeking to pursue. Forbes magazine has good stats on ROI. Yes the D1s have camps with limited representation with exclusivity. UC, OU, Miami (OH) come to mind. These are good camps to attend 1-2 times to provide your athlete and you with "perspective." And to meet first hand the coaches making decisions on all levels who recruit student-athletes.

The best bang for your time and $$$ is seek D2, NAIA, D3 schools in the states you fore see a fit. And go to their football web sites to learn when their camps are. Attend their camp and let them know you are coming in advance and send highlights vids if available. In the tri-state the North Coast Athletic Conference, Heartland Conference, and Presidents Athletic Conference best represent D3.

The Mid-South Conf. will address NAIA fits. And the GLIAC on the D2 level. Check out their recent recruiting classes and then view those athletes HUDL vids to compare and contrast. Feel free to PM with ?s, I'm happy to help. And see the recruiting thread in the college football forum. Priceless info shared there... :thumb:
