eastern ky vs central and western ky football

im wanting some opinions on what people think are the main reasons or differences in the football teams across the state. personally where i come from my town supports the highschool 100 %. we may not have the best team in the state and we havent won a state title but i would put our school pride and our program against in the state. im talking about lawrence county. what would u rather see a team do pass the ball, or run the option or just belly runs all game long. we here at lawrence county are so used to watching the bulldogs run the ball 40-45 time a game, yet we can't get past the lexington area schools or those good ol fort thomas boys, they have a heck of a team up there. just looking for some opinions on this

I am from Mayfield, where we run that foosball, lol. It has always been Mayfield's bread and butter to run that ball but I think that the game is starting to change as far as High School athletics go. We can grind most games out until we face somebody that has a great run defense. I personally would like to see a good mix at Mayfield, I think it would be tremendously successful at the program. Get the ground game established and then if any team tries to play you up close, burn them with a long pass or even a short one across to keep em honest.

yeah i appreciate the response i totally agree with u. we have always been able to run the ball really well but we always ran into that team with the defense that could shut us down. one year it was fort thomas they didnt really stop us, they just outscored us. earlier that year it was a team called rockcastle county we beat them 48-8, on our way to lose against fort thomas. then they year we were undefeated and had home field advantage we played agains a bell county team, that shut us down held michael west the stated leading rusher to lik 38 yards on 19 carries thats impressive. so which is better a team that can or pass or a team with a great defense or both?
