Aaron Snyder (Sports Editor for the Ashland Daily Independent) did a video story of Johnson Central's Mason Blair and his family and how they are using basketball to help them cope with tragedy. The full story will be released in the ADI this upcoming Sunday or Monday so check out the paper for more information, but this loss rocked the entire community.

 

For those that dont know, Mason is a twin and his father, Eddie Blair, is an assistant coach on Tommy McKenzie's staff. Mason and his brother Jarrett (who also plays for JC), lost their sister Jenna in a vehicle accident 6 months ago. This story hits home and shows how basketball and sports in general can help in getting back to some normalcy when life goes down the road we dont expect. Follow link for video, Mr. Snyder did an outstanding job with this media. Kudos to the ADI for doing this story as they always do an outstanding job!
