Who will we see on the mound for the Whitley Co. Colonels in 2007? After so many seniors have gone, how much pitching are the Colonels left with?:sssh:

Who will be pitching is a good question....but who will catch the pitchers with Camperone going north to Corbin?

This is the first I have heard of Comparoni going to Corbin. Is this a sure thing or just rumor?

He played summer baseball with some Corbin players, but it would surprise me if he left Whitley since they hired his dad as an asst. baseball coach and his mom as a softball coach when he transferred from Middlesboro.

Thats what I was thinking 4chs but, stranger things have happened. So what do u think Whitley will do for pitching this year after losing so many starters and do u think their youth will hurt them for the 2007 season? I can always count on u 4chs! Thanks!

McCumbers may be their #1 pitcher with a couple of promising sophomores(Mike Storms & Ted ?) needing to step up for the Colonels to have a good year.
