Dayton 62 Whitesville Trinity 44

Recommended Posts

Final from Dayton.

The Geendevils controlled this one from start to finish, never trailing the entire game. Defense was excellent and held a very good shooting/scoring team to 14 in the first half and 44 for the game. Another balanced scoring effort for the Devils. Unofficial stats:

Devin Bright 19 points 6 rebounds

Draven Garcia 13 points 10 rebounds 5 assists and 2 blocks

Phillip McDaniel 13 points (held their leading scorer to 3 points)

Adrian Hall 10 points

The Raiders were led by Dakota Wathan with 12 points and Eric Howard with 11. Tough shooting night for the Raiders as they had several shots rattle out on them. Very impressed with their defensive effort and communication, they seem like a very well coached group.

Trinity (Whitesville) won both freshman and JV games. They will stay in Northen Ky to play Beechwood and Silver Grove over the next 2 days.

Dayton will travel to Newport on January 4th for a tough district game.
