I know Lewis has played some good teams but these losses are by a lot more points than I expected.

Actually, both of East Carter's starting post players sat out the entire 2nd quarter with 3 fouls each against Fleming this evening and their replacements (an 8th grader and a sophomore) scored 6 points and 4 rebounds in relief, and one starting guard sat out most, but not the entire, second quarter, and her replacement (a sophomore) hit a 3 and had 2 assists in relief) to keep EC's lead. All three starters returned at the start of the second half and pulled away from Fleming, eventually winning by 14. A lot of EC's younger players have rapidly improved practicing every day against the starters.

From the looks of the game I watched they need some more experienced players. For sure that's the way the younger players will get better. But if they are wanting to be the strong team like EC has been. These younger girls is not the way! But if that's all you have then by all means play your players.
