5A Madison Southern makes the short trip north to face county rival 6A Madison Central in the regular season finale.

 

After a rough start, 5A Madison Southern comes a big win over Anderson County and goes undefeated in district play to claim their first ever district title. Madison Central started out strong early. But the Indians hit some rough waters in the middle of the season. An overtime loss to district rival results in the Indians being in third place.

 

Cantrall has the Indians with a rating of 70.3 and the Eagles with a rating of 63.8. Relatively close.

 

The game has no bearing on playoffs but its a chance for each team to claim the title of 'King of Madison'.
