Nothing about tonight in Ram Stadium is likely to seem ho-hum, but the stakes surrounding No. 6 Raceland and No. 11 Fairview’s hookup are business as usual in Class A, District 6.

 

Tonight’s tilt is the middle of three significant showdowns in district action. Paintsville claimed the first one by pelting the Eagles, 38-12, last Friday. The third is next week, when Raceland travels to Paintsville.

 

The Tigers, No. 1 in the state in Class A with an 8-0 record, are off tonight. Paintsville is getting most of the district’s love on the state level, but the Eagles and Rams hope to have something to say about how the district race plays out, too.
