Kentucky Wrestlers at Fargo

Casey Cornett had a good run at Fargo, finished 5-2 overall. Not too bad for his first shot at it and with more freestyle training he will come back full force in the next 2 yrs.

Myers loses 3-1 to the number one ranked heavy in the nation after wrestling all 4 years at 220 in High School wins out and will go for Third tomorrow ,Awesome performance by my boy after only bumping up a few months ago he beat out numerous D1 comitts and State champs who have wrestled heavyweight for years and I think he will have a great run at being a College AA and a Champ after his redshirt year where he will get to fill out and become a true Heavyweight .

Great job by everyone ,Austin would have had the # 1 guy in finals as he was the num 1 seed but there was a last minute redrawing of the bracket either way a great run in HS and at Freestyle Greco glad he got to add another notch for KY in the All American category at Fargo

Austin TAKES THIRD with a 10 nothing tech with over a min and a half left in the second period Awesome seeing him test himself in the toughest heavyweight tournament in the country and taking third after wrestling all through High School at 220 , Very proud he stepped up and proved the naysayers wrong he obviously can hang with the best heavies in the Nation.
