Does anyone know where I could find databases for Litkenhous/AP/UPI for Kentucky rankings before the state championship playoffs were inaugurated in 1959? Any kind of direction, suggestion, hint would be really appreciated, guys. If I can compile any sort of list, you all will be the first to see it.

Someone said EKU library or something like that. Need to look back through old post. I'm not sure about a database...I've been looking for one as well. Evidently the EKU library has all of the information we would need to start a database. You bring the doughnuts and I'll bring the coffee?

You might want to check about posting something that is copyrighted. Not illegal to have it, but.... There probably are legal beagles on BGP that can advise to that affect.

I checked with EKU first because they have a treasure trove of all KHSAA documents and game videos. They have nothing except KHSAA material. EKU is now its repository. Plus the librarians are excellent & keen to assist. Several years ago I bought a number of football game dvd's from EKU for $15 each. That fee covers--get this--copying the original video format (VHS, beta, film) into a dvd (or I guess your preference) + postage/handling. A caveat about the visual quality: some are good to very good, some are too bright, shadowy, or grainy to please the purist but tolerant fans will definitely enjoy them. The ones that don't look commercial may have been just for post-game review by a panel of refs to determine the quality of the reffing. Here is the EKU/KHSAA Archives email: [email protected].
