Harrison vs. Bourbon Co. updates

Anybody there to keep us current? I could not be there and fleeting heard bad reception of WCYN-FM. 102.3. Heard Bourbon was batting in bottom of 4th with Harrison up 1-0. Have no idea how they scored, just know WKU signee D. Brown has mowed down six in a row for Bourbon. Mac Whitaker told me Monday he was the real deal, 11-0, less than 1.00 ERA, with a 92 mph fastball. Whitaker expected the Breds would have to play their best to advance against him.

Harrison 3-2, top of 7th. Just had run called back when bunted stepped on home plate. Brown fielded and threw wild to first. Runner on second scored. Umps huddled and called dead ball. Announcer for Breds said it was correct call. Runner back to second two outs.

Harrison strokes single to center scoring insurance run and go up 4-2.

Stroub intentionally walked and Kinsey hits a long homer to right. Breds 7-2. Brown has not lost in two years.

Breds go down on strikes and Bourbon comes to bat down 5 runs. Brown gave up 6 runs in last two innings. Announcer says his pitch count is over 120, but did not appeared tired.

Bourbon has 9,1 & 2 up. 1st pitch fly all to right for out one. Lead off hitter grounds to first that goes under his glove for an error. Strikeout #2 hitter for two outs. Ground out 6-4 for third out and Breds big time victory.
