Does anyone have any details on this? I got to talk to Grant County's coach for a few seconds after they played Campbell. Grant played well that day and he said the future was looking bright.....I would have to agree. Congrats on the big w.

Grant played a nice solid game. Scored 2 in the second on a triple by the short stop that scored the first run and then she scored. Walton had some chances but just couldn't get the timely hit. Lexi Rouse pitched and very solid game for the Bearcats as did Grant Co pitcher.

Walton had 3 runners thrown out on the bases. 2 runners were thrown out at second and 1 was thrown out at 3rd. The out at 3rd should have been reversed. The 3rd baseman blocked the bag and did not have the ball. That is a call that if it goes your way your happy and if it don't the other team isn't happy. Every time that WV had a runner thrown out on the bag they followed it up with a hit!

Good luck to Grant Co tonight against SK!
