Does anyone know what is going on at Boyle? They have a great #1 and a very solid middle of the lineup that matches up with anyone offensively. Their talent level is always strong, and I just don't see a scenerio where Boyle should lose to Madison Southern ever. Is Southern a better team than what I am giving them credit for?

Last season early in the year Boyle lost to Madison Southern 1-0. Later in the season when they played Boyle won 11-0. This Boyle team is young and did not return much varsity experience. Not making excuses but this team is just now finding their stride offensively and defensively. Boyle has played around with many different lineups this year and are slowly finding the one they believe will be their go to lineup. I look for this team to make great strides and surprise some people as the year goes on.

I agree. They have the talent no-doubt to compete in that region. I think they have the best defensive shortstop in the region as well as the best catcher when Coffey is back there. I hope they figure it out by post season.
