Louisville City 2 St. Louis FC 0

Featured Replies

Louisville won its first game as a new member of the United Soccer Leagues.

Magnus Rasmussen got free behind the defense and scored after a 1-on-1 with the keeper in the 22nd minute.

Then in the 60th minute Charlie Adams hammered one from outside the penalty area that rifled past the defense and into the back of the net. That was all she wrote.

Louisville was the superior team all day. Coach James O'Connor and the staff have put together a talented team dedicated to movement and attack. They were great. Lots of other chances that just didn't stic.

Louisville Forward Matt Fondy and Louisville midfielder Kadeem Dacres were far and away the two best players on the field for either team. Led the attack and kept the team moving forward.
