I know it is early but I just realized how tight this district has the ability to be. Although I don't consider Williamsburg to be as strong, anyone of Whitley, Corbin, or SL could be spoilers if they aren't awarded #1 seeds. Therefore I pose the question, which teams do you think will make it?

 

Personally, I think Corbin and Whitley make it. I think SL will be a #1 seed but I think they would get upset for some reason. As I stated before, it is early but what do you think?

If South is the #1, Corbin and Whitley will play in the semi-finals, because Williamsburg is looking at the 4 seed. Imo this is the best district in the 13th, and I think any of the 4 can make it to region.

The current standings are:

1. South Laurel 3-1, beat W'burg twice, Corbin once lost once to Corbin.

1. Corbin 3-1, beat Whitley twice, South once & lst once to South.

3. Whitley 2-2, beat W'burg twice and lost twice to Corbin.

4. Wiliiiamsburg 0-4, lost twice to South and twice to Whitley.

 

Corbin plays W'burg and South plays whitley this week:

1. If South sweeps Whitley they will be the #1 seed or if they finished tied with Corbin, they win the tiebreaker.

2. If South & Whitley split and Corbin sweeps W'burg, then Corbin is #1.

3. If Whitley sweeps South and w'burg sweeps Corbin, then there is a 3 way tie for first with the scores of the district games determining the #1 seed.

 

Three of the top 5-6 teams in the 13th are going to come out of the 50th district just about every year.
