Northern Kentucky Norse 2015-16 Travel Team Tryout Information

The Northern Kentucky Youth Hockey Association is pleased to announce NKY Norse Travel Team tryout information for the 2015-2016 Season.

Tryouts for NKYHA's travel teams begin April 21st.

All players MUST PAY the full tryout cost, regardless of the number of tryouts you attend.

Players will not be allowed on the ice without paying the tryout fee. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Note: Any member with an outstanding payment balance from the 2014-2015 or previous seasons will not be permitted to roster or try-out on a NKYHA team until the outstanding debt is paid.

Similar to last year, Players should be registered on-line for tryouts prior to the first tryout. On-line Registration will open Wednesday, April 8th. Cost for all tryouts is $75. Note: If not registered prior to the first tryout, cost will be $100.

All players must be registered with USA Hockey. (Players must register with USA Hockey prior to tryouts if they were not registered from the 2014-15 season – note registration will be for the 2015-16 Season).

If a player would like to move up one age category, Players must submit an AGE MOVE UP FORM to Hugh Miller (Commissioner of Hockey). Form can be found on the NKYHA website.

Players are strongly recommended to attend all tryouts. Parents should contact the Head Coach if a tryout is going to be missed.

Note:

At some levels, additional teams may be added based on the number of players at the first tryouts and the skill level.

For the High School Varsity and JV Travel Teams, the 1st tryout will be open tryouts.After 1st tryout players will be divided into separate tryouts for High School and JV teams.

Offers will be made to players by the Head Coaches of each team within 2-3 days of final tryout. Rosters will be posted 1-2 weeks after the final tryout.

First payment for travel is due June 1 your nonrefundable commitment payment (Minimum of $250 with option to pay more) and jersey fee. Commitment payments will go towards your 2015-16 Registration fees. No cash payments will be accepted.
