Powell beats Clay 7 to 1 in the first game for Powell in the Queen City Classic. It took Powell till about the fourth inning to get the bats going scoring 3 runs in that inning. They exploded again for four runs to put the game away in the 7th. Muncie went the distance for the Pirates throwing 120 pitches, striking out 10, walking 1, and allowing 4 hits and 1 run. He pitched out of jam after jam. Great game for the Pirates.
