When Kentucky coach Mark Stoops went to watch Madison Southern running back Damien Harris, the nation’s top-ranked recruit at his position, play last week, he also got to see another potential UK recruit — Madison Central junior offensive lineman Will Ulmer.

However,Central coach Mark Scenters — who coached former all-SEC offensive lineman Larry Warford in high school before he went to UK — knows what Stoops did not see his lineman at his best.

Ulmer “popped a bone in the outside of his foot” during his first drill at a University of Tennessee summer camp.
