4chs Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Corbin looked very "green" tonight in their loss to the Tigers. Hedrick started for the Hounds on the mound(probably his first varsity start) and had some control problems along with a couple of shaky plays in the field which led to him giving up 5 runs in his 4 innings of work. Hamlin pitched the final 3 innings for Corbin giving up no runs and 1 hit. Clay got good pitching performances from Nathan(did not catch his last name)before giving way to the starting SS for Clay who got out of a bases loaded no out jam with the help of a baserunning error by Corbin. Both teams have a long way to go as both look very inexperienced at several positions and neither team(with the exception of Corbin's Hamlin who had 3 hits) hit the ball very well at all.
play2 Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 This was a good win for the Tigers on the road to open up the season against a solid program like Corbin. The Tigers also played without their starting shortstop Brandon Mobley. Nathan White pitched three innings and freshman Nick Gray pitched four scoreless innings to finish out the game.

What was wrong with Mobley??? Will he be back this week??? Good win Tigers. Keep it up!
play2 Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 He will be back in the lineup today. He had to be out of town yesterday.
