The season finally starts for Fern Creek and their young incoming freshmen class as there will likely be two freshmen starters and a third playing significant minutes in their season opener. Moore opened last night and surprised many by almost upsetting regional contender, Bullitt East. The game was at Bullitt East and was only a 5 point contest in a 82-77 shootout. One thing is obvious in the 6th region after the first week of play....it is a wide open race and there will be plenty of surprises along the way. Who do you think will win this 6th region match-up?

How close Moore was to Bullitt East was surprising. Did East not play to their potential, or does Moore has something nobody has noticed (was told one of Moore best players was out for the year)? Only time will tell, but with Creek being young and their first game, the upper hand goes to Moore by 5.
