PIKEVILLE In one of the most remarkable turnarounds one will see from one meeting to the next, Paintsville hammered Pikeville, 30-6, to advance to the Class A regional finals round on Friday night.

 

The Tigers (10-2) hadn’t advanced to this point of the postseason since 2005.

 

Pikeville (11-1) beat Paintsville, 62-8, earlier this season. For those doing the math, that’s a 78-point difference in a matter of 10 weeks.
