Dixie Heights 1 Holy Cross 0

Overall well evenly matched teams. Dixie put in a goal off a corner in the middle off the 1st half. Holding on to their 1-0 lead for the remainder of the game.

Definitely an evenly matched game.

Looked like a fairly decent turnout in the stands too. Who's idea was it for the breast cancer theme? I know October is breast cancer awareness month.

Dixie keeper made some really good saves. I've only seen HC play one other game this year and they had trouble defending set pieces in that one also. Do you think it's because they are a physically small sized team?

Both defenses looked good - not giving up many good offensive chances. Was HC man marking certain Dixie players? The one boy for HC, I think #15 looked like a shutdown defender. I haven't seen any comments on any of the other threads (best defensive players) about any Dixie or HC defenders.

It was Dixie's keeper idea for the cancer awareness theme. Both teams then decided to have it. Answering your question earlier HC is a small sized team but they bring the physicality to everygame. And I believe HC was man marking individuals throughout the game like they tend to do.
