The Maher rankings seem to get better and IMHO, more appropriate the later the season goes. In the beginning, it is useless because it uses last years numbers.....Once the games get played and the strength of schedule gets factored in, it starts to make more sense......

 

Also.....games against non Ky schools do not factor in at all........good or bad.

The Maher site claims an average of nearly 90% accuracy in forecasting the winner of a given match over a multi-year period. Should be a useful tool in scheduling matches to develop a team.
