Bell County opens up district play with a win against Wayne County. The Bobcats beat the visiting Cardinals 19-0. It was a hard fought game. The Bobcats finished with 259 total yards to Wayne Countys 182. Bell had 204 yards on the ground on 37 attempts. Wayne was held to 57 on 25. The Cardinals had 125 through the air on 12-25 with 3 interceptions. Bell had 55 yards passing 4-12 and no interceptions.

 

Bell County Stats

Treyton Humfleet with 73 yards on 7 rushes with a TD

Austin Caldwell with 62 yards on 8 rushes

Chase Woolum with 33 yards on 11 rushes

Evan Brock with 25 yards on 4 rushes

 

Peyton Collett was 4-12 passing for 55 yards an one TD.

Chase Woolum had 1 catch for 22 yards and TD

Evan Brock 2 catches for 11 yards

Cole Frazier had 1 catch for 22 yards.

 

 

This was a great win for the Bobcats. Bell County has improved their record to 5-1 and 1-0 in the district. Bell travels to Casey County this week to take on the Rebels 3-2 and 1-0 in the district. The Bobcats defeated Casey last year 50-0.

 

Defensive

 

Austin Caldwell had 3 tackles and an interception

Cole Frazier had 5 tackles and 1 assist and an interception

Jacob Sutton had a 20 yard interception for a TD

Chase Woolum had 4 tackles an interception and fumble recovery

Dylan Cox had 4 tackles and a fumble recovery
