South Warren 42 Hart County 6

South wins 42 to 6. Really the game was in hand from beginning had a running clock before half and hart scored on freshmen and sophomores with about a min to go. Good to see a lot of young players tonight. Second half qb was Cody Eblen yes Jays little brother.

 

Litten looked good in first half and south threw the ball a little more. It was expected but they still looked good all around.

I have no doubt that South is doing well but until they play Good competition they will never get that #1-3 spots...IMO

I thought untill tonight that Belfry had separated from the pack. I think Louisville Central plays a much tougher schedule and is probably a head but after that I didn't think there was a lot of difference in the remaining teams ranked in the top six.

I have always said the schedule is weak. It's better than the first two years when South had Caverna, Todd Central, and ACS.

Nelson tried to step it up some when he replaced those teams with Daviess, E-town and Greenwood. I don't think he thought that South was going to turn the corner as fast as they did. Admittedly South was horrible the first year. Then improved the second year and started to believe. I'm Still interested to see the other 5 teams south will play next year out of district. I think Smith will step the schedule up a bit.
