How Important Will Seeding Be in District 33 This Year...

Featured Replies

Last year Conner and Cooper went out in first game of Districts to Boone and Ryle, 5-1 and 6-1 respectively. This year looks to be a WHOLE lot more competitive. Cooper and Conner are 2 of the 4 remaining undefeated teams in Northern KY. Ryle's 3 losses come to pretty good teams (Dunbar, Moeller and Scott). Boone is having a rough start, but can you count them out? Who ends up the top seed in District 33 and who are they hoping to be paired with?

I would think HUGE...

IMO, I currently see this as one of the years that you will have a team that could have made a deep run in the Regionals, but they did not... just because they did not make it out of their District. For the past couple of years there has not been much of a threat to Ryle's, or Boone's, path to Regionals... after the first few weeks of this season... it appears that this year will be different.

So far, I think you could say that Boone, Cooper and Ryle all appear to be a contender for the District crown. I only leave Conner out of this statement because I have not seen them play this year, and from what I see on paper, I do not feel that any of their wins have come against an opponent that would be on par with that of their district foes. By this time next week, I think we will have a better gauge of the type of squad Conner is fielding this year, and I very well could be wrong in my initial assessment of them... who knows... there may be a fourth horse in the race for the 33rd District title.
