After the win Friday over Walton, what do you all think about this year's Newport squad?

It's tough for me to say because the problem

I always have with WV is they always tend to

Out up big scores and win a lot of games during the season but their lack of playing anybody catches up to them in the post season and they are usually knocked out after a game or two.

 

When I first saw the score I immediately wondered out loud if Newport really had a team this year that could be a real contender. Then I thought who they played. I will need a couple

More games before judging how good they may actually be.

 

I really hope they are a great team this year. It's nice to have another good team tossed in the mix.

According to their schedule, their next 3 week are Bye, @Scott and Williamburg. They should be able to get a feel of if they can be a contender or a pretender.
