This was a closer game than the final scores shows. Courtney Patterson our 7th grader earned the start in the circle.

 

North jumped out to an early lead on inside the park homerun by Kaylee Tow(5), which was quickly followed up by Mallory Peyton's 6th homerun of the season to make it 2-0.

 

Bottom of the 2nd Grayson scores on squeeze play back to the pitcher to make it 2-1. They then took a 5-2 to lead before Madisonville made the change to bring in Heather Webb to finish out the game.

 

Top of 3rd Mallory Peyton hits a sac fly to score Ryleigh Oldham to make 5-3. Heather Webb then singles to CF to score Kaylee Tow making 5-4. CR Bailey Woodard scores on pass ball to tie the game at 5-5.

 

Grayson Co scores 2 in bottom 3rd to make it 7-5.

 

Mallory Peyton hits a double to LF which was close to being another HR to score Kaylee Tow. Heather Webb then ties the ballgame back up at 7-7 scoring Mallory Peyton with single to CF.

 

Madisonville scores in top of 6th on double by Lexi Miller scoring Morgan McElroy. Kaylee Tow made it 10-7 with double to CF scoring Lexi Miller & Ryleigh Oldham.

 

Grayson Co scores making 2 in bottom half of 6th making it 10-9.

 

Madisonville North then has a big inning in top half of the 7th inning scoring 8. Heather Webb started the inning picking up her 4th hit of the game with a single to LF. Bean followed it up with single to CF advancing CR Bailey Woodard to 3rd. Morgan McElroy lays down a nice bunt to score Woodward from 3rd. Whitney Bean then scores on passball. 8th grader Acacia Gray singles scoring Morgan McElroy making it 13-9. Kaylee Tow singles to CF scoring Allison Davis. Hailey Rodgers singles scoring Acacia Gray. Mallory Peyton doubles to RF scoring Tow & Rodgers. Mallory Peyton scores on wild pitch making it 18-9.

 

Bottom half of 7th inning Heather Webb strikesout 2 of the 3 batters to earn her 5th win of the season.
