This is a good win for the Baby Birds. Matt Schoellman started and went 3 innings allowing 4 runs but not all of them earned. He was just missing with his breaking ball. Kyle Rust pitched 4 innings and allowed no runs. He was very efficient! He only threw 6 pitches in the 6th inning. Second game in a row the Birds only used 2 pitchers.

 

Trey Bowden had a nice 2 RBI single. He stole 2nd then 3rd and advanced home on wild throw from catcher. He also had a diving catch in center field. Over all the Birds are getting quality at bats.

 

Over all the Birds are playing good but still too many mistakes but it's still early.

Great to hear. Young and early are a combination for mistakes. They will get older and it will get later!!!
