Senior forward Grace Maniacci hit a layup with three seconds left in regulation to lift Cooper to a 63-61 win over Scott on Thursday.

With the score tied at 61 and time running out, freshman guard Hailey Anderson drew defenders under the basket and dished to Maniacci, who put in the game winner.

Senior guard Paige Ross paced the Jaguars with 15 points, and Anderson and senior guard Katey Pittman rolled up 11 each.

Maniacci finished with seven points – all in the fourth quarter as Cooper erased an eight-point deficit in that period.

Eagles eighth-grade guard Ally Niece led all scorers with 19 points.
