First......congratulations to Scott's seniors. May you enjoy the rest of your HS soccer career...........the fireworks were a nice touch.

 

 

For the game.......this was one of the worst officiated games that I have ever witnessed.......at any level. The ref let things get out of control and then could not reign it in.......even after "raining" down cards........2 reds, 5 yellows, I think......the cards came too late. He didn't call things that needed to be called and saw mysterious things that no one else did. Poorly managed game.

I'm sorry, but I know for Scott, it was Patterson, Treadway (2), and I'm not sure who had the last one........

 

 

Side note: Treadway may be the best player in NKY..........but with the talent he has, I'm not sure why he feels the need to "Flop" 10 to 15 times a game... I've never seen a player initiate the contact with the intent to fall down and try to draw a foul as flagrantly as he does........I'm just glad that he quickly "healed" the three times he went down in the box with mysterious injuries. Didn't even have a limp........

That was indeed a farce as far as the officiating goes, even by N. Ky. standards. A couple of Scott goals off of free kicks via mystery fouls. Best team still won the game. Treadway had a couple nice finishes but as noted, his flipping and flopping ways have not changed. Hard to watch a game with him in it. Seems to me N. Ky officials could get a handle on the dramatics via a couple yellow cards.

 

Great fight put up by the Colonels after falling behind a couple of times to tie it 3-3 at halftime. Took control in the second half and had much more of the ball and deserved to win. If Treadway stays healthy I think Scott stands a good chance to beat Brossart in regional play. Their kick the ball up the field to Treadway style is effective if he avoids the flopping. Other than him there is not much there.
