Who do you think was the most overlooked players at Boone county?

I don't have an answer for this but this might be a chance to find an answer. I've always wondered who this player was. He was on the 94 team that went to state. He returned the 4th q kickoff against Shelby Co to help set up the winning field goal. I also think he is the one that blocked the fg in the championship game. I've always wondered who he was.

I believe it was Brian Maney

I think he was number 27.

I have no idea how else his playing career was but I know he came up big at times in 94. That kickoff return help Boone stay undefeated during the regular season and the block fg gave them a chance in the title game. I still remember watching him sit on the bench with his hands on his helmet as the final minutes of the game ticked away.

Also #9 was a good player for them as well
