The Hawks nearly squandered an 8-point lead in the final 2 minutes, but were able to hang on by preventing the Indians a good look at a late game-tying 3.

LaRue faces Nelson Co. in Sunday's early 5th Region semifinal at Green Co.

Ivy Brown had 24 and Alexis Brewer added 23 for the Hawks.

Katie Keltner had 27 and Mercedes Cox 17 for Adair.

LaRue won by 3 at Nelson a few weeks ago, one of the Cards' 5 losses on the season. NC avenged one of those earlier tonight against North Hardin, and will try to avenge another on Sunday.
