Who wins and why?

Harlan County gets the monkey off their back and wins the first regional game in school history.

 

One of South's better players, Sanders, hasn't been around most of the year due to injury, and they've probably not gelled yet. Harlan plays an aggressive man-to-man D and the athleticism of their guards causes problems for Baxter and Sanders.

 

South typically isn't known as being an overly physical team, yet Harlan is. I'll take the Bears in this one. If nothing else, the home court advantage and motivation from falling short the past two years will help them pull it out.
