Covington Catholic lead the game from the start until about 2 minutes to go, when New Cath went 1 up. Both teams tried to set up a win, with both missing key free throws and throw ins. With a key basket, Cov Cath was 1 up and was able to hold off Newport.

 

 

Next game is Saturday, Dec. 29th at 8:00 PM versus Ryle.

Nice win for CCH, too bad the final game will be at the same time as the Varsity Colonels go up against Clinton County in the finals of the Lloyd tourney. Good luck to all teams in the finals.
