Christian County jumped out to a 20 -7 first quarter lead. Madisonville then fumbled the kickoff to start the second quarter and Christian scored to make it 27-7. The next kickoff Madisonville returned it 75 yards for a first and goal. The Maroons then scored again before the first half ended, haftime score was CC 27 Mad 21. Christian Co. did the only scoring in the third quarter and lead 35-21. Both teams scored in the fourth leading to the final score 41-28.

 

I thought this game would be entertaining and it was. Madisonville has a very good line but will be playing young guys in the skills position. Christian County has plenty of athletes also. Both teams will have good seasons.
