Scouts Grade: 88Position Rank (G): 663-star G China Dow picks the Sun Belt. China Dow of Louisville, Ky., has verbally committed to Middle Tennessee, according to club team coach, David Tapley of Kentucky Premier. The 5-foot-9 guard also considered Indiana, Nebraska and Xavier before picking the Blue Raiders.

 

"China has had a breakout summer for Kentucky Premier," Tapley said in an email. "(She's) a great defender and always gives 100-percent. She will fit great with coach (Rick) Insell?s style, especially how he has been able to develop scoring guards and China is certainly a scoring guard who can play multiple positions. I think coach Insell has pulled off one of the biggest gets of his career with China Dow."

 

Dow, who is rated a three-star prospect by ESPN HoopGurlz, is the third player to commit to the Blue Raiders in the class. She joins Tyisha Petty of Murfreesboro, Tenn., a 5-6 point guard, and Olivia Jones, a 5-8 guard who also is from Murfreesboro.

MTSU is a strong basketball program. Congrats to her.
