MMI led for quite a chunk of this game but could not shake a gritty Deming team who landed many free throws down the stretch. The King twins played well for Deming.

Deming scoring:

King (K) 18; King (L) 11; Caldwell 10; Sparks 2

MMI Scoring:

Fenley 11; Barner 8; Walker 4; Sligh 4; Nation 2; Gray 2; Bear (Ilan) 2; Bear (Itai) 2

Deming moves to 2-3 on the season while MMI drops to 2-3.

I was at the game. Deming played gritty....that sums it up well. The King twins played well and carried the team. What is MMI's record?

The King twins will be something to watch when they grow up they are only 7th graders but they play like freshman, probably playing better than their dad did. (Just kidding Troy)
