#4 seed Cov Cath defeat #6 seed Dixie in the first round of the Division II-East, Kentucky State Lacrosse playoffs.

Cov Cath was lead by Juniors Nick Stutler & Kevin Boerger with (3) goals each.

Cov Cath will travel to Sayer on Saturday for a 5:30 game in the next round.

Zack had a nice game only allowing 6 of the 8 goals with 5 good stops.

Back up freshman goalie Walt Menke gave up 2 in the last few minutes of the game.

Our young defense tends to over commit letting the attacker get around them for a one-on-one situtation with the goalie....which at this level... is generally a loosing effort for the goalie.

Zack had his best game of the year Monday night against Louisville Eastern with 12 very good stops.

Cov Cath will need him to have a good day tomorrow in order to have a chance at beating Sayre.
