Senior night at Lexington Catholic. Best game of the season for Lexington Catholic. Josh Mesmer had 5 goals for his 4th hat trick in as many games.

LexCath plays Trinity in Division 1 playoffs next Monday at Trinity.

Nice to see another LAX fan on BGP!

Thanks for posting Bluegrasscard, it's great to see other scores around the state.

Good luck to Lex Cath in the playoffs.

Where are Trinity & Lex Cath seeded?

Trinity is #1 in Division 1 and is #1 in the state according LAXPower. LexCath is #8 in the division.

Nationally, Trinity is ranked 172 and LexCath is 2843. To say Trinity is a strong favorite is an understatement. But the senior night win will give Lexington Catholic some confidence going in. Trinity won the last meeting easily and could have really run up the score. But they did not. Trinity staff is classy and handled that difficult matchup very well.

This was only LexCath's 2nd win in the season. The team has 2 seniors, 1 junior and the rest are sophomores and freshmen. Also the starting goalie when out with a broken thumb twice. Oakley Peavler took over goal only 2 games before this one and had a super game.
