  1. Do you know for a fact that anyone has been recruiting. That word is thrown around a lot here. That is the reason for people wanting to separting. If recruiting is such as problem then the KHSAA can clean it one school by school. Here is also a fact. At CovCath, whose name is being mentioned as the "Evil Empire", has had only a handful of players go D-1 football in its history. It was a big deal when Alex Donoghue went to Louisville. Usually in a good year their quarterback goes to Hanover or some small D-3 school. If their athletes are so superior how come they don't go big time D-1?
  2. I do understand it. The point I am trying to make is what is financial assistance. At CovCath, they have a work study which the student gets at most 1/4 of their tuition relieved if they work to clean and repair the school. This is a drop in the bucket to the amount of money the family has to come up with. Is that the same as a reciprocal agreement one district has with another in which the student has to only come up with a small amount?
  3. One thing that people keep forgetting about in this debate is the ultimate equalizer: tuition. CovCath can try to get a student from Dry Ridge, but if the student cannot pay tuition and in a students case from Dry Ridge (out of district) more tuition than the average CovCath student then he cannot go to school there. More "recruiting" in the world will get him there if he cannot pay.
