It was a good win for Mercer, especially given that it was on East's home court. However, it shouldn't be overly surprising given that the teams did split their (very competitive) games during the season - Mercer won at home by 10 and East at home by 14 - but both were much closer than the scores would indicate. After all, this game was a 9 point margin but was obviously closer than that!
