I would just say there are situations where a coach has been influenced to play a certain player over another. Maybe the parents were old school mates or friends or relatives etc. I agree most parents think their son or daughter should be playing over so and so but there is the exception.

Willie Schlarman is only as good as his assistant coach....it was Mike Code at Brossart. (Probably because of his assistant coach at Highlands. Josh Feldman) And look how Brossart is doing...great. Highlands....terrible.
